I began toying with website design in 1998 and enjoyed it. I created a
few websites for friends and family. I am not an expert by any means, I do
this as a hobby. I do believe, however, that I can provide a functional
site for you at a relatively low cost. I am only one person who is
attempting to provide web services to those of you who do not have a huge
budget allocated for web design. Having been self-employed myself, I know
how challenging it is to keep a small business afloat. With fluctuations in
the market it is very difficult to keep a steady cash flow at times. That
is why you need me. My goal is to provide and maintain functional websites
at minimal cost.
The way I work is that I would design the page based on your initial
specifications and then let you check it for accuracy and content prior to
publishing. Unless otherwise informed, post-publishing changes or updates
would be made based on your direction only. I will handle all initial setup
with providers and/or other services. The average time to get you up and
running is approximately 2 weeks depending on the complexity.

I will retain a back up of your site to protect you from server
corruption or loss.
Your site will include the following.
- Base Setup
- Domain setup w/Personalized Web Address
- ISP server setup
- Website design and submission
- Up to 10 pages
- Custom Background (may be colors or picture)
- Web Graphics or Photos
- Navigational Links (Home, Next, Back, etc.)
- Optional
- Hits Counter
- Web Ring Links
- Submission to 400 Search Engines (additional fee required)
- E-mail Link
- Cost of Personalized Web Address
- Personalized Web Address
- Your domain name is purchased from an independent provider.
- The initial fee is $100.00 for the first 2 years.
- After the 2nd year there is an annual charge of approximately $50.00 / year.
- You pay CWD the initial fee and then all payments are made directly to
the independent provider.
- There are free domain services available but you are not allowed to
choose your address name and pop-up banners will be present on your
site.
- Cost of Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Server Cost
- You must pay an ISP around $50.00 / month to serve your domain. (This is the
provider of the server where your site resides.)
- You pay CWD the initial fee and then all payments are made directly to
the independent provider.
- There are free domain services available but you are not allowed to
choose your address name and pop-up banners will be present on your
site.
- Search Engines - (optional)
- Server Cost
- The initial fee is $50.00 with a monthly charge of $59.99.
- Submission to up to 400 Search Engines Using MSN's "Submit It!"
- Your site is submitted to the top 10 search engines including
Webcrawler, Yahoo, Lycos, MSN, Alta Vista, Infoseek, etc.
- You can submit 10 pages every month. Submitting multiple pages of your
site can give your customers multiple chances of finding you.
- You can choose which other search engines you want to be listed with.
- Internal Page Links
- You may link to up to 15 pages from the home page.
- Site Maintenance
- After final approval, any maintenance or modifications to the initial
published site. $30.00 per instance or $50.00 per month for up to 5
changes per month.
- Minimum Cost
- Includes all of the items listed in bullet one. $700.00
- If you choose to use a free domain and service provider. $500.00
- Money Orders or Cashier's Checks only.

All design work provided by CDW. Hosting, search engine submissions, and
all CGI services offered by other service providers. Payment for services
that CDW does not provide required in advance. CDW does not require a
contract but services not provided by CDW may. Prices for external services
may change without notice.
